Due to popular demand from those unable to attend the IFLA WLIC Conference in Astana, Kazakhstan in 2025, we are running an updated version of session, Building Intelligence: Practical library applications of AI and Linked Data at OCLC.
Artificial intelligence (AI) is reshaping the way we access, share, and interpret information, but its potential is only as strong as the data that powers it. In this session, TJ Godsey will explore our practical applications of AI in resource sharing, offering real-life examples that demonstrate its transformative impact. While, Axel Kaschte will also provide an update on our ongoing work with linked data, highlighting how it enhances discoverability and interoperability. Most importantly, they will connect the dots between AI and linked data, underscoring how the structured, interconnected nature of linked data can strengthen the accuracy and relevance of artificial intelligence in ways that help advance librarianship. Join us to discover how these technologies are working together to redefine how libraries can serve their communities.
