Notification preferences
To access this page, you need to log in first.
My account > Notification preferences
On this page, you can set your preferences for the types of messages you want to receive from the library and how you want to receive them.
Service messages
A service message is a brief notification from the library informing you about important matters. This could include reminders about overdue books or notifications about items ready for pickup. The purpose is to keep you well-informed so that you know what to expect.
Through notification preferences, you can determine which messages you receive from the library and through which channel (such as email or postal mail). In some cases, certain preferences cannot be turned off, or certain channels may not be available.
Sometimes you can also choose "Inbox". You will see the message in the "Inbox" and receive a push notification if you are using the app.
Newsletters
Some libraries offer a tab with notification preferences for newsletters. Other libraries may use different methods for customizing your newsletter preferences. If you are having trouble, please contact the library for assistance.
If you have subscribed to the library's newsletter, you can indicate your preferences here by toggling the switch on or off. You can also temporarily pause the newsletter, for example, if you are going on vacation. In that case, enable "Temporarily block all newsletters".
If "Temporarily block all newsletters" is enabled, you will not be able to adjust your preferences. To modify your preferences, please disable this option.
Areas of interest
Want to stay updated on the new arrivals of the library's collection? Sign up for acquisition emails. The acquisition email is a periodic email that includes new titles (acquisitions) categorized by subject. You can subscribe or unsubscribe to specific subject categories by clicking on "Sign up" or "Sign out" under the "Areas of interest" tab.
This manual explains how to set notification preferences. Not every library uses the same settings, so some functions may work slightly differently.
