A door to Arabic content for the world

An OCLC webinar

OCLC recently launched the Arabic Discovery Catalog, an initiative aimed at gathering in one place all existing Arabic records from libraries located in Arabic countries.

In celebration of the UN Arabic Language Day on Monday 18 December, Omar Farhoud (Senior Library Services Consultant) and Chris Négrel (Middle East Director) will be running a 45-minute webinar to showcase the Arabic Discovery Catalog.

During the session, they will look at how it can

  • increase the online presence and discoverability of your library collection,

  • provide you with access to quality bibliographic records, and

  • deliver an intuitive and seamless experience for users through improved accuracy of sorting and searching results.

Please, note that the main language of this webinar will be Arabic with an introduction in English.

This session will take place on Webex and it will be recorded. If you are not able to attend, please still register and then we can share the recording with you afterwards.

Join us to learn more about the Arabic Discovery Catalog and take a deeper dive into what it could mean for your library.
