Tags

A tag provides a keyword (or a few keywords) that gives useful information about the title. This allows you to quickly see what type of title it is and whether it interests you. For example, a Harry Potter book may have tags such as "adventure", "youth", "magic", and "friendship".

To use tags, you need an account for Wise Community.

At the bottom of the full title view, click on the "Tags" tab to see the existing tags, including those given by others. You can add a tag by either clicking on the plus button next to an existing tag or by adding your own tag. Click on the cross button to remove a tag. You can only remove your own tags.

The maximum length of a tag is 80 characters. If you enter a longer tag, it will automatically be shortened to 80 characters.

A title can receive the same tag from multiple users. Top tags are displayed at the top of the full title view. These are the most frequently used tags for this title. If you click on a top tag, a list of all titles with that tag will open.

Others also borrowed

At the bottom of the page, you will see a row of titles. These are titles that other users who borrowed the title you're currently viewing also borrowed. This provides you with suggestions for books that may be of interest to you, based on what other people have chosen. Click on any of the titles for more information.

Recently viewed titles

At the bottom of the page, you will see a row of up to 9 titles that you have previously viewed. Click on any of the titles for more information.
