Financial details
To access this page, you need to log in first.
My account > Financial details
On this page, you can find an overview of your outstanding expenses: financial items that are yet to be paid.
View
Navigate to "My account" and select "Financial details" to see any outstanding financial expenses.
If you have been authorized by someone to make payments on their behalf, you will also see their financial items listed. You can identify these items by the presence of numbers such as (1), (2), or (3) next to them. To learn more about this, you can visit the authorized payments section in "Relationships" within "My account".
On this page, you will also see any credit balance that is available on your library card. With a credit balance, you can make payments. You can often add credit to your card at the library or online through the Basket.
Libraries may sometimes block your library card if you have too many outstanding expenses.
Pay
By default, all outstanding items are selected. Click on "Pay selected items" to make an online payment. Please note that some libraries may have a minimum payment amount for online transactions.
You will be directed to the basket where you can proceed with online payment or use your credit balance. Please note that your payment is only considered complete once you have completed all the necessary steps.
Questions
If you are unable to make an online payment or if you are unsure about the origin of a specific amount, please contact your library for assistance.
Explanation of statuses
If a payment has a status, you will see it indicated in the corresponding footnote. The statuses are as follows:
- Items that will be collected via direct debit (*I)
- Items that will be collected by the collection agency (*D)
- Items for which a payment arrangement has been agreed upon (*R)
Please note that if an item has the status "direct debit", you cannot manually make a payment for it. This is to prevent accidental double payments.
This manual explains how to view and manage financial items. Not every library uses the same settings, so some functions may work slightly differently.
